The company ser.soft GmbH develops professional software and advises companies competently in almost all areas of IT. In doing so, the employees can draw on their many years of experience, which they have acquired in several projects together with various customers.
ser.soft GmbH was founded in 2001 in a central location in Karlsruhe. In 2010, we moved to our new offices in Kürnbach. Together with our cooperation partners, we have carried out projects for well-known national and international companies in the field of software design, implementation and introduction.
Our Team
Georg Ziegler
Founder, CEO
From programming with punch cards via Basic and Pascal, Georg develops both backend and frontend components in the latest programming languages today. His focus is on backends in Java and C#, but web frontends e.g. with AngularJS are also not unknown to him. Various databases have always been part of the portfolio. Here, too, Georg has been involved since early versions of Oracle and MySQL. As CEO and co-founder of the company, Georg is also the face to the outside world.
In his spare time, Georg is involved in local organizations in addition to his family and is a passionate barbecue master.
Daniel Friedrich
Founder, CBO
Daniel originally started his career as a master mechanical engineer. Since 1989 he has been developing professional software. Together with Georg, Daniel founded the company ser.soft in 2001. Currently he develops native mobile applications for iOS and implements classic client/server or multi-tier systems with C# and Java. As CBO, Daniel takes care of the strategic orientation of the company and the organization of the operational business.
In his spare time, the family is the focus. In addition, Daniel likes to ride his motorcycle. If the opportunity arises, he keeps the overview while paragliding.
Florian Friedrich
CTO, CIO, Senior Developer
Inspired by computers from an early age, Florian graduated from secondary school in Switzerland in 2014 as a computer scientist specializing in application development with distinction after four years of training. During this time Florian was already working in IT support and on his own projects. A year later he joined ser.soft GmbH. His technical focus lies in the development of native iOS and macOS apps in Swift and Objective-C. But scripting languages and backend systems are not foreign to Florian either.
In his spare time Florian likes to hike through the Black Forest or the Swiss mountains. Or he digitizes his home.
Joél Friedrich
Junior Developer
As a full-stack and mobile developer, Joél has been supporting the team since 2021. His main focus is on the development of web frontends using Angular, as well as backend development using C#, Java and PHP. He speaks JavaScript and TypeScript fluently, knows how to connect to REST services and can quickly familiarize himself with new topics and subject areas.
In his spare time, Joél likes to be out in nature, whether on foot or on two wheels.
Kerstin Friedrich
Officemanagement
Organization is important! So that the employees of the operational business can concentrate on their core competencies, Kerstin takes care of all matters of office management. Kerstin is the "good soul" who always ensures the necessary motivation of the employees. Be it in the form of coffee or by actively supporting the many tasks that arise in the office area every day.
Maria Ziegler
Backoffice
Many things happen in the background of a company. Nevertheless, you also need reliable employees for this. Maria is responsible for these tasks in the back office, from which the employees in the operational business also benefit.
As a trained English teacher, she also takes care of the creation and translation of documents into English.
